Trouble with purchases or playback?
Follow the steps in order: they go from the simplest to the most thorough, and most problems are solved by the first few. This guide applies to Tevegram and Overgram, on Android TV, Google TV and compatible sticks.
Prices do not show up on the Premium screen
Typical message: The Play Store on your device is having an issue or a loading that never finishes.
Check the basics: an active Internet connection, and the TV's date and time set to automatic (Settings, Device Preferences, Date & time).
A clock that is off is enough to make Google authentication fail.
Restart the TV (unplug it for 10 seconds if needed), then reopen the app and press "Try again".
The most effective fix for a Google service stuck in memory.
Check the Play Store's active account. Open the Play Store, avatar at the top right, and see which account is selected.
On a TV with several Google accounts, the Play Store can switch to an account other than yours on its own. It is the most frequent and the most invisible cause.
Clear the Play Store cache: Settings, Apps, Google Play Store, Clear cache. Do the same for "Google Play services".
Approve the TV from your phone. If Google sent a "New sign-in" alert for your account, approve it, then restart the TV.
Until the device is approved, Google silently refuses all of its requests.
Reconnect the Google account: Settings, Accounts, remove the account, restart the TV, then add it again with your password.
The restart in between matters: without it, the old corrupted session can survive.
Update the TV's system: Settings, Device Preferences, About, System update. Keep installing updates until none is left.
A system several years old ends up rejected by Google's servers, even with a valid account.
The purchase is refused
Typical message: This item is not available for purchase or a payment sheet that closes immediately.
Install the app from the official Play Store. A version installed another way (APK file, another store) cannot trigger a Google Play purchase.
Buy with the Play Store's active account. The payment sheet uses the account selected in the Play Store, not necessarily your TV profile's. Check the avatar before trying again.
Check the payment method of the account at play.google.com/paymentmethods (from a phone or computer), then try again on the TV.
Update the app from the Play Store, then restart it before trying the purchase again.
The video freezes or will not start
Frozen picture after a few seconds, black screen, or playback that no longer starts at all.
Update the app. Version 3.3.9 specifically fixes playback freezes and stalls on modest devices (TV sticks, boxes with 1 to 2 GB of memory).
Restart the TV if no video starts anymore, in this app or elsewhere.
The system's video decoder can stay stuck after an error; only a restart brings it back.
Free up storage. Aim for at least 1 GB free: playback downloads the video as it goes. Cache cleanup is available in the app's settings.
Let a long video get ahead: on a slow connection, pause for a minute or two after starting, then resume.

For a quick diagnosis, include in your message:
- the model of your TV or stick (e.g. Nvidia Shield, Xiaomi Mi TV Stick);
- the app version (Settings, About);
- the exact error message and what you were doing when it appeared;
- a photo of the screen if possible, it is worth a thousand descriptions.
